Terms of Service
Effective: 10 July 2026 · Version 1.2
1. What Qixoo provides
Qixoo is a hosted service that lets you connect an existing website by adding one <script> tag, and edit text / images / links / messenger buttons through a visual editor. Edits you save are applied to your visitors via our public API. You keep ownership of your content.
Qixoo can also generate a new site for you and host it — including an optional name.qixoo.app address you choose. Those generated sites and any extra pages you create are served from our infrastructure; you remain responsible for their content, and we may suspend content that breaches these terms. Connecting your own custom domain is not offered yet.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time magic link sent to your email, or with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to that email / Google account and for not sharing sign-in links. You must be 16 or older to create an account. We can suspend or close an account for abuse (spam, unlawful content, security probing).
3. Plans, payment, and refunds
The Free tier is free forever within its quotas (1 site, 100 saved edits, basic block library). Paid tiers — Personal, SmartAI, Agency — are billed monthly or annually in USD, charged in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). While online payment is still being enabled, paid upgrades may be temporarily unavailable.
You can downgrade or cancel any time. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused time on the current billing cycle. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days. If you downgrade with more active sites than the new plan allows, you choose which ones stay editable; the rest become read-only (visitors still see your edits, but you can't change them until you upgrade again).
“Unlimited” allowances (for example Agency sites and client logins) are subject to reasonable, good-faith fair use: they are for operating real websites, not for reselling the platform itself or automated abuse.
4. Add-on modules, AI tokens & token packs
Modules (Blog, Booking, Analytics Pro, Shop, Languages, White-label) are one-time purchases: pay once, use them on any plan, and keep them even if you later downgrade. Modules are not subscriptions and never auto-renew. Where the Shop module is used, payments from your buyers run through the payment links you configure — those payments are strictly between you, your customers and your payment provider, and are not part of your Qixoo bill.
AI tokens. Your plan includes a monthly token allowance that resets each month and does not roll over. Token packs are one-time purchases; purchased tokens never expire. Tokens are deducted only when you apply an AI result — discarded suggestions are free.
EU/EEA consumers: plan upgrades, credit packs and modules are digital services delivered immediately. By purchasing, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right lapses once delivery is complete; credits already spent and modules already in use are non-refundable.
5. AI features & generated content
Some features use third-party AI providers (for example text rewriting, the AI Site Builder, translations, and the support assistant). AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output generated for others — review it before publishing. You are responsible for all content you publish on your sites, including AI-assisted content. As between you and us, you own the inputs you provide and the outputs you apply to your site. Do not submit sensitive personal data to AI features. AI features are provided “as is” and may be rate-limited or temporarily unavailable when upstream providers are.
6. Client logins
If you invite a client through the dashboard, that client gets a magic-link login scoped to a single site you specify. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to invite them and that the content they edit on that site doesn't violate these terms. You can revoke a client login at any time from the dashboard.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Qixoo to:
- Host content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
- Distribute malware, phishing, or CSAM.
- Send spam from the form-handler endpoint.
- Reverse-engineer or attack the platform.
We can suspend service immediately for any of the above and reserve the right to report to authorities where required.
8. Data & backups
Backups produced through the dashboard contain only what's listed in the Privacy Policy: a JSON of your saved edits plus any images you uploaded through the editor. Your original HTML / CSS / JS lives on your own hosting and is never stored by Qixoo.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We don't run a formal SLA on Free or Personal; SmartAI and Agency get priority email support. Scheduled maintenance is announced in-app when possible.
10. Liability cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the lesser of (a) the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months and (b) US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You can delete your account any time from Settings → Delete account (or via the API endpoint described in the Privacy Policy). On deletion we hard-remove every row tied to your user. Some derived data — log entries, fraud-prevention records — may be retained for up to 30 days for legal reasons.
12. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are to be resolved by the competent courts in Spain — except that if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (including the right to sue at your own domicile) remain unaffected.
