# Site builder (website builder)

The Qixoo **site builder** makes a new site, gives it a `.qixoo.app`
address, installs Qixoo CMS on it at once, and hosts it itself.

## What you fill in

A business name, a business type, and a brief of up to 3,000 characters. Then the
language, a colour scheme and a style.

Out comes a responsive one-page site — navigation, services, testimonials,
contacts — with a live URL and a link straight into the editor. In the editor you
can grow it into a multi-page site.

Sections follow the trade: a salon gets prices and booking, a restaurant gets a
menu and a map. The brief also steers which photos are picked, so it is worth
writing properly instead of filling in one line.

Free has no monthly allowance, so on Free a token pack is the only way to run the

## Premium themes

Ten designer layouts of 78–96 slots, with photography and animation already chosen.
Previewing any of them is free on every plan — only your site quota limits you.

Unlocking one costs 150 tokens **once and for all**. Every build from it afterwards
is 35 tokens, with no limit on how many sites you make from the same theme.

## The address

A built site claims its free `.qixoo.app` address by itself, from the business
name. Cyrillic names are transliterated — «Романо Барбершоп» becomes
`romano-barbershop.qixoo.app`. Details in

Custom domains are not available yet.

## What differs from a connected site

Qixoo hosts a built site, so two things behave differently from a site you
[connected with the script tag](https://qixoo.app/docs/install.md).

- The chat assistant works as a **page agent**. It is given the whole page, so
  "fix the heading that slipped" is something it can act on. The server keeps the
  last ten versions and the ↶ arrow rolls back. If the model changed nothing, you
  are not charged.
- The backup ZIP includes `site.html` — the whole page with your edits and photos
  baked in, which opens in any browser with no connection to Qixoo. See

## Editing afterwards

A built site is edited like any other Qixoo site: you click on the live page and

[Client access](https://qixoo.app/docs/client-access.md).
