# Client access

A client login lets your customer edit their own site without a Qixoo account of
their own, without seeing your dashboard, your other sites or your billing.

## Inviting a client

1. Site card → **Invite client** → enter the client's email. They receive a sign-in
link that takes them straight to their site's editor.
2. No email, or you prefer WhatsApp, Telegram or handing it over in person? Click
**Copy invite link** instead and leave the email field empty. You get the same
one-time sign-in link, valid 48 hours, on your clipboard.

Each click mints a fresh link and cancels the previous unused one. Messenger link
previews cannot "use up" a link — the secret part never reaches a server until the
client actually opens it.

You can re-invite, copy a new link, or revoke a client login at any time on the site
card.

## What the client sees

A simplified toolbar: the agency's logo, Undo/Redo, a **Site** button to view the
page without the editor, **+ Add** and **Save**. No AI buttons, no token or edit
meters, no support button — plan information and AI spend are the operator's
business, and support questions go to you rather than to Qixoo.

They edit the same way you do: click text to edit it inline, click photos to replace
them, **+ Add** to insert blocks, **Save** to publish.

## What a client cannot do

These limits are enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the interface. A client
login is refused on everything operator-only: all AI features (they would spend your
tokens), the AI page-version history, branding, module purchases, and creating or
deleting language versions.

Undo and Redo for a client only revert their own actions in that tab. A block the
client just added is removed with the Undo button on the green confirmation toast.
The arrows never delete previously inserted blocks, which may be your work.

**Be clear with yourself about what this is.** Content editing is not restricted: a
client can rewrite or delete text and images on their site. Client mode stops them
spending your money and touching your settings, it does not make the page
un-breakable. If a client makes a mess, your backup is the recovery path.

## Branding

Qixoo branding never appears to a client. Without a logo the toolbar shows a neutral
"Editor" label.

To put **your own logo** there, buy the White-label editor module ($29, one-time,
account-wide). Uploaded logos are display-only — a client can never change or remove
the agency's logo.

## Selling modules to clients

A client's editor has a Modules tab, but they never see Qixoo's base prices. They see
your price, set in **Billing → Module prices for your clients**, or no price at all
if you have not set one.

When a client clicks **Ask your agency**, you get an email and a card on your Sites
page — for example "Shop on Pizzeria — your cost $19 · client pays you $49" — and you
either Enable it (you pay the base price for that site) or Decline. You bill the
client yourself; the margin is yours and the money never flows through Qixoo.

## Backups for clients

Optionally, you can allow a client login to download their own site's backup. The
toggle is on the site card.
